Product Manufacturing Process
1. Design & Tech Pack
Compile renderings, size charts, fabric specifications, print /embroidery techniques, accessories (main labels, care labels, hang tags, drawcords, hardware), Pantone color codes and deliver complete Tech Pack.
Core for streetwear shorts: Confirm silhouette (Oversize wide fit / Boxy cropped fit), fabric weight, waistband structure (elastic /drawstring waist), inseam proportion.
2. Fabric Sourcing & Relaxing
Select fabrics (double-yarn cotton, french terry, heavy twill, washed cotton fabric). Conduct incoming fabric inspection, fabric relaxing and pre-shrinking. Pre-shrink knit & woven fabric in advance to avoid waist & length deformation after garment washing.
3. Pattern Grading & Marker Making
Pattern makers create base patterns for shorts and grade for all sizes. Computer marker making to optimize fabric usage, add notch marks to ensure left-right symmetry and comfortable crotch curve.
4. Fabric Cutting ＆ Cut-Piece Printing / Embroidery
Multi-layer cutting according to marker layout. Number and separate cut pieces: front panels, back panels, waistbands, pockets and belt loops. Inspect cut pieces to remove defective or off-tone materials, keep consistent lot color for bulk order.
1. Complete screen print or embroidery on cut pieces. Precise artwork positioning. Processing on cut pieces reduces fabric tension and distortion to keep stable graphic effect.
5. Component Pre-Sewing
Pre-assemble small components: patch pockets, waistbands, drawstring channels, belt loops. Overlock raw edges to prevent fabric fraying.
6. Shorts Assembly Sewing
Stitch front & back panels, side seams and crotch seams. Attach pockets, waistbands and drawstring tunnels. Apply double-needle stitching to reinforce crotch and pockets for classic streetwear stitching style.
7. Garment Washing & Distressing
Garment enzyme wash, stone wash and edge distressing for vintage faded look. Release fabric shrinkage simultaneously to stabilize waist and length dimensions.
8. Trimming & Pressing
Trim all loose threads. Steam pressing & shaping to keep neat and structured silhouette of shorts.
9. Quality Inspection
Piece-by-piece check: measurements, waist & length tolerance, color difference, print fastness, skipped stitches, holes and accessory placement. Random sampling for wash fastness test.
10. Packing
Fold finished shorts, pack into PE bags, attach hang tags. Pack into cartons with clear shipping marks, size and quantity labels.
